Diet Coke Gets A Makeover

Coca Cola is 125 years old this year, and the first official extension of the brand, Diet Coke, was launched in 1982. So the Turner Duckworth design firm, based in San Francisco, were asked to give the can a makeover.  We wanted to shar this exciting new marketing re-brand with you.  Read more below: 

 

It's brave to say the least, although the traditional colors of silver, black and red have been retained. Personally, I like it when companies take risks, and this is one of them. But I think it will do well. It's bold, it's still using the color scheme that everyone is familiar with (so it won't get blank stared) and it's no doubt going to get a pick-up in sales. Will it last? Who knows.
