Pom's Got Talent: Ean Mering Gets 2 Votes from Bon Jovi
January 18, 2011 by Nate Winter
Ean Mering is an incredibly talented creative producer here at Pomegranate. (We’re not shy about our talent.) He’s been with Pomegranate since its inception as a founding partner and his work has wowwed clients like Disney, Google and Warner Brothers.
But this only scratches the surface of Ean’s accomplishments. Long before he was winning over clients at Pomegranate, he won the acceptance of legendary rockers Bon Jovi. In 1995, Ean was the star of not one, but two Bon Jovi videos. That’s right-- two proud New Jersey thumbs ups from Jon, Richie and the other guys whose names no one knows.

I’ll be honest, in the pantheon of music video celebrity cameos and memorable characters, Ean is... not at the top. He’s not exactly Courtney Cox from Dancing in the Dark or Long December. And he’s certainly not Alicia Silverstone from Aerosmith’s Cryin’, Crazy and Amazing videos. Even the bumble bee girl from Blind Melon’s No Rain is a couple steps above him.
Despite all that, the fact remains: in 1995 Ean Mering rode the Bon Jovi express to 10 minutes and 42 seconds of teen stardom. He’s a better man for it, and the results are plain to see.
So without further ado, here they are.
